I recently took a girl who is my friend to a company party as my date, she is single and I am too. We had a really good time and we had our arms linked during most of the night. Towards the end of the evening she started holding my hand. I was wondering if this is something most girls do with one of their guy friends? I'm not particularly close to her, like we hug but that's all. I'm sort of confused as to if maybe she likes me more than just friends, like is she trying to give me a hint?

Could be. Or it could be she was just feeling the night. Going out with you to a party, she felt comfortable.
Some girls are touchy feely with guys. They mean nothing by it. Does she do this a lot? If not then I would rule this suggestion out.

Unless she was drunk (some people get touchy feely), I'd say she has feelings for you! I'm not a big hand-holder myself but by the sounds of things she was trying to let you know she has interest!!

This depends on her personality. If she normally is not the type to show affection, then she is letting you know she is interested. But if she typically is the type to go up and hug people and touch them while talking to them, then that is just how she is with everyone (it is her personality).

hummmm.... it sounds like she might just have some feelings for you that are a little more than just friends. hang out with her more often & perhaps you can figure it out a little more clearly. ask her if she wants to go on a picnic or out to dinner... something friends do, but something couples do as well... and see where things go! have fun & enjoy it!
