Recently, I observed a cuple of documentaries on PBS and The History Channel, that describes the Constitution as a living documet.
The preamble, the amendments and the Bill of Rights were pain-stakingly established as the foundation to create a republic of liberty and freedom which later included all persons born within its boudaries.
The Conservetive Party now, wants to rewrite the Constitution and abolish the Supreme Court.
Without the checks and balances, and with the Delegation of Powers to each state individually, would re-establish aristocracy on a scale never before precedented.
Dictatorialships would flourish, making each state an empire unto its self.
With this in mind, I beseech the benevolence of all Americans and ethnicitys to reassess your knowledge of the Constitution and your fellow countrymen...
"One nation under God with Liberty and Justice for all."
Do not take this lightly, that which does not affect you at present may come to haunt you later...

The monitring of your PC and wire eaves-droping on your telephone calls is just the begining of "a Totalitarian government."
The police will be the centurians, they are the only civil service employees that operate under a cloak of secrecy (unaccountability of violation of civil liberties.)
They are seeking to establish a no knock policy to invade citizens sanctity of home under the ruse of mere suspicion.
This is the implementation of the future....
And in closing I would just like to say, "Solidarity to America the Beautiful."

Those that feel that the Constitution has not been breeched or violated are sadly mistaken.

The first violation of the Constitution took place in the 1800's when the South tried to succeed. The result of this violation was the Civil War. (Contrary to what is being taught - the war had nothing to do with slavery.)

If you think that the Constitution is honored by our elected public officials - you'd better think again!

I don't understand where you guys keep getting the idea that the government is violating the constitution in anyway... they can not.. don't get me wrong Bush has tried on several occasions and was called on it every time.. it made him so mad that he dare utter the words "the Constitution is nothing but a piece of paper", but so far no one has let him violate the Constitution... and I don't think anyone will ever let him or anybody else.. regardless what you or I may think about our Government.. they have to live here too.. they don't want to destroy their rights as American Citizens either....
As far as wire tapping and all that... it has always been there.. this is absolutely nothing new.. all the Patriot Act did was take Acts already in place and mush them into one, so it would be easier... the Government has been able to tap phone with or without a court order since 1978- and it is for our own protection... it's life when you live with the possibility of terrorism within your own country and people coming from outside the country... If I had to choose between someone tapping into my phone and listening to my boring conversations or the safety and security of me and my family and my children's future.. I'd go with someone listening to my boring conversations.. but I guess that is just me
