I'm not sure about the Marines, but up here in the Canadian Forces, you can join as a grunt with parental consent so it shouldn't be all that different south of the border. But I'm 90% sure that you can with your parents' blessing.

They told me no, I had to wait until I graduated. So I turned around and joined the Army National Guard and finished basic training in time to go to my SR year of High School. 5 years later I went Active after I finished College and Have been Active for over 5 years now.
I wouldn't have changed a thing. I have worked with Marines and I have had former Marines who joined the Army work for me. They are a different service with a different mission. I would not say they are better. Every service has their good and bad points.

I am in the army now and I came in while between my junior and senior year in high school. For me this was called a split option. Which basically means that I go to basic training during the summer after I completed the 11th grade and then after I actually graduated from high school I would then go on to active duty. My mom had to sign off on something though. So if the army did it for me I dont see why the Marines would not do it for you.

you can make the commitment to join the Marine corps at age 17 with out graduating. But to actually go to boot camp and become one of the best fighting forces you need to graduate with at least a high school deploma and you also need your parents consent at the age of 17. 18 they consider you an adult able to make your own decisions.

Both the Army and the Marines prefer high school graduates, if you can hang in there,.
