no its a cartoon charecter and you can get a tattoo of him or a tattoo of the ancor.

Noo not realy. You can also put other tattoo's. The most sailor put Popeye, because it is commen. Ask a sailor. I did and that was the answer. Be HAPPY !!!!

I'm not sure I understand your question. Popeye is a cartoon character, a very popular one. He has a tatoo of an anchor on his forearm. His character was indeed a "Sailor Man".
