I found my wedding dress at Saks Off 5th (oultet for Saks 5th Ave). $50 bucks and it fit right off the rack. I got my bridesmaid dresses at Jessica McLintock (sp??) for $99 apiece, even though they had to be special ordered.

Go to a bridal store. ANY bridal store.
Try the Alfed Angelo line (www.alfredangelo.com) or the Forever Yours line. Also, look around. There will be many options you would haven ever though of.
We bought dresses from the Forever Yours line, and even with express shipping the total was only $130. The best part was that the quality was GREAT!
DO NOT BUY OFF OF EBAY! You will NOT know what you're getting into--the quality of the fabric, the true color of the fabric, the fit, etc. You need to get it from a qualified store.

I were given my bridesmaids dresses from perfect bridal expenditures...this is an onlinecompany, yet they furnish truly some the designers at lower price expenditures...i believe I were given my females, dresses by technique of Barry Jay, they were over $250 in the boutiques, yet I were given there is for $one hundred and twenty.00 each and every and they are over the moon. now and again ebay is an outstanding determination, i purchase a number of of stuff on ebay, There are a number of of deals on bridesmaid dresses, yet i could not in any respect purchase from oversees organizations. those days I went into David's bridal and they were having a mega sale, they were promoting an finished decision of dresses off for £30.00 each and every, decreased from $one hundred fifty.00....truly awesome gowns...yet you would possibly want to certainly opt to bypass the shop to get those deals.

Macy's is a good place, plus they are a long company so you'll be able to find a variety of sizes or multiple of the same. They are also relatively cheap, I purchased a few dresses there for under $100, you just have to know what you are looking for.

My dresses came from Filene's basement for $49!! (Jess McClintock) If you have the time and energy to go hunt for dresses, check out places like Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off Fifth.
That's actually a pretty big budget -- you could shop lots of regular stores...

Try David's Bridal.
You can also check out local dress shops in the malls that would carry prom/evening wear.
