Question

When i move I'm going 2 paint my room like a beach. Do u like this idea or think it's stupid

idea is nice but i can tell you right now in a month or two you r going to sick of the same view on your wall:) wall is a background for your room furniture pictures frames posters , wall is not a picture, but if you still want to live in a beach buy a big poster and see how long you will like it. you could choose some colors in your room that reminds you of a sunny beach maybe combination or sky blue and cream sand colors with some sunset peach or somethings like that you got to see what goes nice together and then get some decorations that would remind you of a beach, lite sheets color-full throws and rugs beading windows treatment... good luck:)

It's a pretty cool idea. However, the beach scene (or any mural for that matter) can get old. Try this. Get several spooled white canvas tarps. I'd suggest large enough to cover a wall or two. Paint different scenes or murals on each. Hang the spooled canvas along the wall near the ceiling. As your moods or seasons change, unroll a new scene and roll up the old one.

that sounds pretty cool .. but it might be hard to paint it like a beach so im not sure.. but if it comes out good than that would look really cool!!!

yeah i want to be an interrior decorater (if there is such a thing) so i'm gonna try and help u with some ideas k?

Bed: Get a white or tan or blue SHEER canopy, and white or tan/sandy colored comforter or blue

Walls/doors: Id go for tan/blue (If u do comforter or canopy blue do tan walls vise versa) oo and u cood have wall paper maybe for one wall make it a beach sunset or rise or something like that

Furniture: i'd again go with tan (Unless walls r tan) or white u shold prolly have a varity of colors but id go same color for all furniture

Windows: u shood do sheer maybe same color as canopy DONT DO SAME COLOR AS WALL FOR WINDOW DECORATIONS!!! or u cood try to match valences/curtian with comforter (Try jc penny "Bed in a box" but those r maninly for kids/teens rooms) umm dont do valence+curtain but u cood do a scarf with valence/curtain those r cool

Rugs/carpet: if u have wood/tile id put a rug of a dolphin or beach or sea creature u like. if u have carpet i woodn't have a rug

umm hope i helped just so u know i'm 13 so my ideas might be "off" for an audults room but i tried. best of luck! OH and HAVE FUN!!!!
