According to BMi, you are not overweight.. I'm alomost the same as you, but 5 lbs more. It;s not bad, but could be better. If you look overweight (aka-you see FAT bulging from corners and u dfislike your pants size) then maybe going on a diet (elminating junk food and soda) would be helpful along with light excersize. But you shouldnt worry, you are not really overweight.

I'm 5'9 and 130 pounds and compared to you, I'm a giant. So in my opinion, yes, you are overweight.

Know if you need to lose weight
Health specialist use a measure called BMI, short for Body Mass Index. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. This gives a good measure of your total body fat. BMI compares your height and weight. It shows if you are underweight, at a healthy weight, or overweight.
You know how many pounds are there in 1 kg. Do not know let me help you, it is 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds. Check out what your BMI is by using the BMI calculator.
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.htm
BMI Category
Below 18.5 Underweight
Between 18.5 - 24.9 Healthy Weight
Between 25 - 29.9 Overweight
Over 30 Obese
Look at the BMI chart to find out how much weight you need to lose to move from obese to overweight or from overweight into a healthy range. Knowing this can help you set a good weight loss goal.

I calculated your body mass, it is "23" and according to the Panel on Energy, Obesity, and Body Weight Standards published by American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, your category is "desirable".
I also looked up a height/weight chart and your healthy weight depends on your body frame.
If you have a small frame, you should weigh 111lbs-124lbs.
Medium body frame 121lbs-135lbs.
Large frame 131lbs-147lbs
You can calculate your frame size here:

No, you are not overweight. Your BMI is 23, which is fine. More importantly is your body fat percentage. As long as it is below 30%, then you are good to go. HTH : )

well all those charts would say that you are a little...but generally you are not. Depends on your bone size (small medium or large). I wouldnt say thats overweight myself. I used to weight 120, and i 5'2'' and i kept being told i was too skinny.
it just depends on perception. I wouldnt worry about it. If your self concious about it, try to develop some muscle. It does weight more than fat, but the scale doesnt matter, its how you see yourself and if you like the way your clothes fit.
