I know that Army has a rule where if you serve a year in Iraq, you get a year of downtime back in the states. Is the rules kind of similar for the Air Force?

The AF is set of an AEF cycle. It is supposed to be that after a deployment you are home for 15 months. This will all prob be changing soon seeing how we are soon going to 6 month deployments instead of 4 months.

Again this is how it is supposed to work. I just got home from being away for a year in Korea and I am now getting ready to leave and head to the desert...
