She's always plucking the tails off of lizards and leaving them next to the stove for me to either to step on or cook. How do I get my cat to stop doing that?

Your cat is doing this because he/she appreiciates you taking care of it and feeding it. This is a gift in return for your love. Dont get mad. Just watch out for the tails.

Always check her mouth before letting her in. That's really the only way--make her spit it out outside. If you have a kitty door, there isn't a whole lot you can do without sealing it. We had this problem with my former cats (my current one is indoor only because I live in a college town) and this was the ONLY thing that worked.

OK this is going to sound crazy but here it goes. I have 5 cats and one used to bring me "gifts" all the time. What the others are saying is true they are tokens of affection. My cat was bringing me rabbits and squirrels. I was told that I should tell her thank you. nice gift and all but not to bring anymore and she has quit bringing me "gifts". try and see if it works for you

Your cat is bringing you things to cook? Smart cat. Cats love to bring you their little trinkets. I find gopher heads, dead snakes, all types of carcasses at my back door. They just want to share their thrill of a kill. That's a cat for you.

Awww!! What a sweet kitty! She loves you and she's bringing you presents!
I think the only solution would be to keep her inside all the time.

I had to chuckle on that one Charmin. Do they make good stir-fry?

Really you just have to monitor the door as she will keep bringing them to you unless she manages to decimate the population to the extent that they go extinct in her territory.
