What do you think about the Illegal Immigration issue concerning American Caucasian citizens and Illegal immigrants from Mexico?
They are all immigrants to me, being Cherokee, at least the Mexicans came from the same continent as I do.

Back then it was OK to go and destroy civilizations in the name of " religious freedom" The romans did it, Spanish did it, Europenas did it. But now is not OK, becasue we have laws and borders.
Our hypocresy goes just so far.

I am not native american, but you might want to get your facts straight first.
Mexicans who are NOT native americans as yourself are no more from the same continent than any other american. They are descendants of the Spanish and French and other European countries.
Many non native american Americans actually have families who have been on this continent longer than many Mexicans' families.
You also fail to mention the illegal immigrants from Asia, Europe and Africa. Do they get treated differently than illegals from Mexico in your book?

Get over yourself. If you really are Cherokee, your ancestors migrated here, too. They didn't just pop up out of the ground.
Anyone who was born here is native. Including us American Caucasians whose ancestors came from Europe or any where else.

People are just afraid of change like they always will be. They don't want to have all these "brownies" walking around their country since it makes them feel like they don't have the control anymore. Immigration is immigration, whether it is legal or illegal. If people do not come here legally it's not because they want to do it the easy way but because the hard way is REALLY HARD and they don't have the time, money, or patience to go through all that. It's just like a thief who steals to survive. The thief has no money to purchase food, no time to wait for someone to help him, and no patience to take the chances of never getting anything. He WILL steal if he wants to survive. People will come here illegaly if they want to survive.

well i don't really think that you are "native american" , if you were why do you have to be politically correct. you aren't a full che-ro-kee are you, probably only 1/100th, right? besides back then america wasn't even a country until europeans came, seeking their religious freedom, and started it although they didn't do it alone, we helped, as far as i believe america is for everyone even mexicans. you need to think more about what you're saying. quit giving indians a worse reputation, we haven't needed your help so far.
