if you wax it, it may come back thicker.. consult a doctor or dermatologist.. they may have a cream that'll thin it out.. or even ligthen the color so not as noticeable.

I used to wax my arms. It cleaned the hair off very nicely, but i ripped the skin on my wrist off and now there's a scar. It remains visible even 5 years later. It's ok to wax your arms as long as you do it right. Don't go putting on too much wax (like I did) and don't apply wax to 1 area more than once even if the hair does not come off the first time. Leave it as it is and try it again the next day. Too much wax is dangerous and can highly damage your skin.

If you want to protect your skin, you can apply baby powder over the area you want to wax before you put the actual wax on. And if it hurts/sting when you first rip it off, massage right away and the pain will decrease. Also if your skin is sensitive, you should buy some kind of redness reducer product. They will most likely sell it at any beauty shop. It makes your skin cold and prevents you from getting red spots.

Also when you are waxing, make sure you apply the wax in the direction your hair is growing. This will allow the hair to be ripped off more easily and it will hurt less.

Good luck!

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
