As a worshipful soul, why would one's own faith not be enough sustenance? Why must one's beliefs enter the secular realm?
As a penitent soul, why can one not be at peace with oneself and with the World? Why must there be proselytizing and promulgation of hatred of others?

Why then are good works not enough?
Why must one press their faith upon others when the example of their good works (AND their own peace with themselves) will demonstrate the strength of one's path?

there are times when God opens a door for you to talk to someone. you do not have to be offencive, but the need is there, when people need to know, and if God opens a door for you to do good and you do not do it then that is a sin of omission.

To answer this and every other post about religion or faith, try this:
THERE IS NO GOD!
Do you believe in god?
I don't believe in god, so I guess that I'm an Atheist.
Do you believe in Zeus, Mercury, Zodiac, Druid, etc.
No?
Neither do I.
These are gods too.
I guess that You are an Atheist too, same as me.
The only difference is that I include all gods all the time, and you choose to be an Atheist only most of the time.
Do I win the BEST ANSWER? or are you still trying to wrap your head around the above?

Your statements are incomplete. Why would one's own faith not be enough sustenance? Truth is meant to be shared and beliefs are to be carried out in everyday life to guide us and hopefully others. There is no secular life where beliefs are concerned. As a christian I share my beliefs because they are the best thing that ever happened to me. They give me peace and joy. I want others to have that too. It would be sick and wrong to have the secret to life and not share it.

Because sinners are secular, if we are to spread the gospel then how can we not enter the secular world?
One can be at peace both ways, otherwise why would the scriptures teach that if we walk uprightly that even our enemies would be at peace with us?

Well, in christianity, good works isn't enough because then you are depending on yourself for salvation and not Jesus. And for your first question, faith is enough if you have faith in the right things.

I'm with you on this one. I cannot understand ongoing disputes trying to proof that "my religion is better then yours", "My God is better then yours." What o waste of energy. I'm so blessed to have my faith. It contributes to my happiness & dealing with various chalanges in personal life. I also know that sending hate messeges to others only results in 10 folds hate back to the senders - basic law of he Universe.
I believe in the power of prayers as God answered most of my prayers.
I consider myself blessed!
May Peace be with all of us.

Some people are at peace with themselves and with the world. Take a look at the Buddhists.

One's faith gets stronger on the contigency of knowing more what you have faith in.
The more you know God, the more of a measure of faith is received.
In simple words, you can't have faith in something you don't know or unaware of.

May I direct you to James 2:14?
"2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?"
