The only reason he is leading you on is because you are allowing him to. If he keeps blowing you off, take the hint and forget about him. Maybe it's time to tell him you are no longer interested and start seeing someone who is good to you.

I am not sure that you have the correction defination of what an affair is. An affair means one or two of you are married or in a commited relationship and you are cheating on your partner with this other person.

Sounds like he was a summer fling. If he doesn't fallow up on seeing you again, then you might have to let go.
You are young and in no hurry to have a perminate relationship...give him time. Maybe back at school he is busy.

Yikes. I am sorry to say this, but the "bond" you felt isn't as strong for him as it is for you. You definitely haven't described a guy who is hooked on you. I say ignore him a bit. If he really is into you, he will come after you if you start to puch away. Otherwise you will need to move on and find someone who will care enough about you to value your needs.

You need to do two things. 1. Don't believe him. and 2. Stay in school.

If your bond was so strong, he wouldn't be treating you this way. Don't be his convenience! Drop him!
