Forget flirting tips -- be yourself. You're shy; he may be shy -- or if not, he probably knows you're shy -- so break the ice by telling him you're shy and that you're not sure what to say. Trust me, just getting it said will do an amazing job of breaking the tension for the rest of the evening.

loosen up.... enjoy yourself! Pretend like it's not a date, pretend like he is ome goofy male friend that u are totally comfortable with.
Before you go think of some conversation starters.
Also if u know the movie look it up online for reviews and stuff. Would'nt it be fun if we had an idea of what guys think before a first date, well I found a link to a site about what guys should ask ladies on their first date. Browse these questions so u can kinda prepare for what he may ask u,
Remeber to responed, stay lively and be the lady of this guy's dream. Also PRETEND to not be shy cuz I know u are gonna be shy, but if u just pretend 2 be super confident the guy is gonna feel like he is on a date with a someone who is his equal.. Men LOVE LOVE LOVE strong women!,

Well, do not try too hard, just relax and be yourself. For conversation, just discuss current events or subjects that you and your date like (music, movies, books, etc.) Discuss the movie that the two of you just saw.
Try to find out some things about your date and get to know him better, what does he like and dislike? What are his feelings about you?
The more relaxed and comfortable you are around him, the easier conversation will be and the date will go that much better.
Good Luck

Woah, its the big date eh?
Kinda' normal to be apprehensive, but you got to focus on what you feel - after all, I am assuming you are going out with him cos' you kinda' like him.
1. Make with eye contact when you first meet him, then appreciate verbally how he dressed up for you (hopefully he does).
2. Talk about the movie as if you like it (preferably it is one you both like) cos' it will be an easy topic. Oh and share a popcorn!
3. Touch his hand softly when grabbing some popcorn and if both of your hands linger there for a moment - you got sparks goin' !!!
4. Lastly try having dinner at a place both of you are comfortable at - sneak peeks at his eyes when he eats (please, not with a overflowing mouth) it will really send signals over...
The rest is up to your body language...
You leaning over when he talks to you...
Putting your hand on his knee when he leans over to chat (just for a moment, if not he may feel you are too possessive)...
Voila !!! My first ANSWER in Yahoo Answer! Enjoy...

You don't need to be the world's greatest conversationalist. First of all, your non-verbal signals without thinking of them will do 95% of the work for you. If you are really worried, plan for a handful of questions you want to ask about him (what he does, likes, knows, etc). Also, maybe think ahead of time about a few topics you know alot about to work into the conversation if you feel stuck. Remember you don't need to win him over. If he asked you out, he ALREADY likes you.

you don't really have to flurt to make him like you!! just be yourself, cause if he is a good guy and not after just one thing then he will like you for who you are!! ask him questions like what kinda things does he like to do, what kinda things interest him, and even ask him about his family and maybe then he will she that you are interested in him and you want to know more about him, so when you do have a real realtionship with him, and it is time to meet the parents you will already know a little bit about them!! just remember be yourself and if he is a good guy then he will like you for who you are and not what you have!!

Just go with it. Nobody can tell you what to say the whole night you're going to have to come up with something yourself

Say what you feel, be who you are and be proud of that. If he doesn't accept you for who you are then he isn't worth your time. Furthermore, we guys don't know any better what to say than you girls. We are nervous (at least I am) every time. Be yourself, and let him be himself, and it will work out for you, I guarantee it.

Be yourself, and act like you do every day. Don't try and be different just to please him, if he's going out with you, he likes you for who you really are and not who you pretend to be.
Be yourself, and everything will come at the right time.
