My 12 year old daughter kissed her ole Dad goodnight on her own without reminding.
My 15 year old son hugged me goodbye before leaving school.
My 17 year old son was excited about his football practice and game plan for Friday night. He told me all about the strategy of the big game. Really wanted to talk, just him and I.
My 19 year daughter shares on the phone her experience about Rome, the people, school, the roommate problems, the excitement of another culture.
My 21 year old son, mentored a young man for an overnight stay at his college campus, and asks me if he could go on a missionary trip to help the poor for Spring Break...like at 21 he needed permission from his Dad. But I gave him my opinion. ;-}
Fatherhood is my most costly adventure, most joyful adventure, most humbling adventure. I love being a Dad.
I thank God, and my wife of 23 years each day.
What a wild adventure each day! Radical.

Its actual unhappy to pay attention of such information. Wats extra saddening is what surely handed off to convey forth such violence n hatred interior the extra youthful minds... the government won't be able to straight away do lots to surrender egocentric human beings from bringing harmless toddlers into the international. in fact that's going to be too previous due via the time they're born. The social provider branch are the only 'outdoors element' who could make a distinction to those toddlers. Very so oftentimes even close kinfolk is surely no longer allowed to have a say interior the way those dad and mom improve their toddlers. kinfolk, neighbours and instructors can do 'some thing' via alerting the social centers. finally, the social provider is given the oppourtunity to make or destroy the toddler's destiny. while dealt with with sincerity and care n placed into acceptable placements/homes with popular stick to up, those toddlers do have a extra powerful threat of a 'commonplace' destiny. So, this boils all the way down to the want of a good, knowledgeable and commited social provider community. that's some thing the government can cope with.

When I was taking my son to day care in the morning, a car swerved in front of me and I had to brake really hard to avoid hitting the car. I was very shaken and a little upset. When my two year old says to me from the back seat, "It's OK Mommy. It's OK." It made me feel better to know that he wasn't shaken or scared by the experience. He is so polite and so sweet I tell him everyday that I love him and that he is the best son a mom can have.

I have a cold and have felt pretty crappy for the past 2 days. My 8 month old daughter kept trying to give me kisses all day!(normally she will only do it once or twice and I have to ask) I had to make sure she made it to my cheek, of course, so I'm not giving her my germs lol! She made me feel a whole lot better!

I have 5 (2 bio and 3 steps)...They all did their homework and cleaned their rooms without being asked.
It's a rule here...and they have learned that if they stay on top of their rooms it doesn't take but a few minutes each day. I'm proud of them :)
