Does anyone know what disability payments are in Georgia and South Carolina for someone just getting started?

yes I live down south, near georgia line. depends on what kind of disablitiy they are going on, it takes a doctor and longer process if it is physical and very hard to get. the pay is around 800.00 per month physical disabled. mental disability, they see to act on alot faster and it is 600.00 per month and they provide little asisstance with welfare such as food stamps, and they provide low income housing in georgia also. the process sometimes is long and drawn out in ga. if it is physical, I know three people that got the mental disability in 6 months. they will provide medicade for those circumstances.
