pom puppy has diarrhea?

i have a 7 week old pomeranian puppy she has the runs bad, her butt is raw she wont play just wants to lay around she still eats i wormed her and started albon anyone know what it could be or what i should give her im totally broke an cant afford the vet right now ( im in nasty divorce thing right now) please help

her poop stinks but its not bad runny has blood in it doesnt seem to be parvo

what i can i use on her butt its raw im pretty sure this is not parvo idealt with the parvo thing before

albon is for coccidia and colitis whats hge

1 dropperful 2 times a day my vet wont perscribe with out seeing the dog

give her peptobismol it will work. my vet recommended it once.

The first thing you need to do is take the puppy off its food for 24 hours. This will give its bowels a chance to calm down. Then start feeding the puppy a bland diet of boiled rice and hamburger. This will fill her up without upsetting her tummy. Then slowly, over a few days, start adding her regular puppy chow to the rice / hamburger mixture.


If the lethargy lasts for more than a few days, however, the dog could have internal parasites, Parvo, HGE or severe colitis, and will die without proper treatment.

If you can't afford to care for the dog, turn it over to someone who can.

How long & how much Albon have you been giving her a day? What are you feeding her?
What did you worm her with & when?
Can't you call & talk to a vet about this & maybe just go pick up some meds for her?

She really should get to a vet. Any vets in your area willing to work out payments? This should be a relatively "cheap" visit to the vet. What about vaccinations, heartworm prevention, etc? Maybe a puppy isn't the best thing financially right now. I know it's nice to have a puppy around to keep you from being lonely or whatever, but you have to think of the puppy. Is it fair to him/her if you can't afford it's basic needs, which vet care is part of? If you have any spare time, maybe a part time job at a vet office? Then at least you get good discounts.

Has she had her parvo shot? If not, then that *could* be it. Otherwise, try a different brand of food. She might have a sensitive stomach.

i think for one thing your dog knows you are stressed out and your passing this emotion to your dog. are you changing the food around. pepto bismal. helped mine a teaspoon a day. i had a yorkie that about **** himself to death. that worked.
