Any one in a polygamous realtionship who wants to give me some advice on comtrolling jealousy and anger about the situation I am in? I love my husband and my jealousy is taking bad toll on my marriage. I chose this life as his second wife, and it's not fair for me to take my anger out on him or his first wife, but I do sometimes and it causes problems. My email is my user name.

it's normal for you to be jealous, try to be strong and not show your jealousy. pray and ask God, he'll answer.

it's also the man's job to try to work it out in a fair manner that would satisfy both of you.
if he's not being fair he'll have to answer for God.

I don't believe you.First I happen to know 2 Muslim men and I asked about polygamy and they told me that it is lawful to marry more than 1 but most do not out of respect to the woman.
One of these men is in Turkey and the other in United Arab Emirates but they both answered the same.I'd say if you really have gotten into a marriage like this, you knew what you were doing and you asked for it.

jealousy is normal in any marriage. even Saidatina Aisyah R.A get jealous whenever Rasulullah S.A.W keep on mentioning Saidatina Khadijah's name. there's nothing wrong in being jealous except that you must control your jealousy.

don't let your jealousy get in the way and destroy your marriage. get to know your husband's first wife and befriend with her and her kids.

good luck!

Sweetie, you need to get out of that dysfunctional relationship (not to mention the dysfunctional religion you're in) and find a man who truly respects and appreciates you. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

Don't be jealous, be better!

If you can't stand the heat don't attempt to go into the kitchen.

If anyone should be heating the kitchen up, it should be you.
