The Venice Boardwalk, the Santa Monica Pier, Malibu, the Getty Villa in Malibu, the Getty museum in West LA, the Watts Towers, the Disney Concert Hall, Olvera Street, Chinatown, Universal Studios and Universal City Walk. Burbank Studios and CBS - Television City and the Farmers Market and 3rd and Fairfax. The LA Conservancy also has walking tours of historic buildings. Good luck.

This is an interesting question. You should dig into this and do a real report. "Hispanic" should not group together, (as it seems is so often done) Spanish and Mexican populations. Hispanic refers to the Iberian peninsula (in this usage primarily Spain). Spain was defeated in the Mexican War of Independence in 1821 with many of the "royalists" (Spanish) being executed with many others returning to Spain. Things (like tourist attractions) created after that date are most properly considered either Mexican or American. The remnants of Spanish "residency" in Los Angeles on Olvera Street were rebuilt about 100 years later by the White powers that be, as kind of a Chamber of Commerce type tourist attraction (a Hispanic Disneyland) to promote Westward movement of AMERICAN populations in the Eastern United States and land sales (It's purpose was not a celebration of Hispanic heritage which for the most part was shamefully destructive as to indigenous populations and Mexicans. Dig into this story, it is not what you think it is... Bottom line- The Spainish goal was CONQUEST and Missionaries were to be the first "foot in the door"....
