I asked this in a different forum and want to get different answers here.

You say liberals are responsible for the social programs that help people BUT YET you claim we hate GOD. YET republicans are the party of GOD and MORALITY and you want to cut out all social programs and just let people live on the street and fend for themselves. It's just so confussing these days. It seems everything is twisted.

OK, why with this question do I get attacked for going against the bible? I did not say anything here about being a liberal, I did not say anything here about abortion, NOR did I even mention the word HOMOSEXUALITY. I simply asked, WHEN did helping people and caring about them become a bad thing. And the people who, AS CONSEVATIVES HAVE STATED TIME AND TIME AGAIN, try to create and continue programs that help them get associated with Hating GOD? It would seem that the people trying to cut out these programs are associated with the party that claims to be the more "GOD" like.

TO SUSPENDOR, why is it ok to tax me to give corporations and rich people tax breaks BUT It is not ok to tax me to "HELP" people. I'd gladly pay more taxes to know I was helping someone more unfortunate than me. It's not for me to judge if the person deserves it or not. if he/she is hungry and homeless, they deserve it no matter how they got there.

GOP'S ARE HATED WAR-MONGERS, WHORE MONGERING LYING GREEDY FILTHY DIRTBAG FAGS.

WHAT THEY SAY AND DO CONTRADICTS THE VERY ESSENCE OF SCRIPTURE AND WHAT JESUS PREACHED AND TAUGHT.

EVANGELICALS FALL IN LINE DUE TO THEIR LUST FOR GREED AND POWER JUST LIKE PHARISEES.

MAY NOVEMBER FIND THEM OUTTED.

You cannot do good by doing evil. Stealing from one person in order to give to someone else is still immoral. It's only okay if you earned the money yourself. And you're right. Modern liberals ARE twisted. They think the comfort of a woman is more important than the life of a defenseless child. How is that moral? Take a long, hard look at your beliefs, and how they really line up with God's Word.

You can thank relativism and secular humanism for that. We have grown up in a morally bankrupt society over the last 40 years. Take a look around.

Its the "do your own thing" and the "ME" culture that started in the 60's. The colleges teach it in every philosophy and sociology course.

Political parties have nothing to do with God. They are about their own social agenda and have nothing to do with the betterment of the people. I think you will find that the most helpful programs were started by individuals not the government.

I'm a conservative and I don't think all social programs should be cut. What I and many people don't like is money going to people who are able to work, but don't because they've found a way to sit on their butts and collect a check. Don't tell me none of those people want to live like that, because there are many who do. I've met them. When people abuse the system, they make it hard on the people who are really, honestly in need of the services. Look at how many people are on disability who really don't need to be. I know several people personally, who have collected disibility checks, and were perfectly capable of going out and getting a job. I've also known people who really needed it. People who were really sick and disabled, who had to fight tooth and nail to get anything. I don't think wanting tax money to be used right is uncaring.

I am a pro-life Christian and I support alot of "liberal" social programs...

To be honest, I don't think Jesus would completely endorse either political platform, Democrat or Republican...

Its NOT helping and caring when you try to force them to do what YOU think is right because your religion told you so. That's the sign of a childish mind.
