The above medicines usually have no affect on the bone marrow so your haemoglobin or platelets will not reduce due to these medicines but if you are on dialysis or have CRF then your haemoglobin will remain low due to disease. Consult your doctor for advice regarding iron supplement or erythropoietin to improve your haemoglobin.

The kidney manufactures "ERYTHROPOIETIN" which is a substance that stimulates the bone marrow to produce red blood cells. If you are suffering from a renal disease which is chronic, it is likely that your haemoglobin level is below normal due to the reduced level of erythropoietin. It does not affect other cell lines like the white blood cells (WBC) and platelets.
If, however, a drug is causing the reduction, it is likely due to the suppression of the bone marrow by the drug - which would mean that all the blood counts are brought down, including the WBC and platelets.
Your haenoglobin may be down because of a co-existent condition, like iron deficiency (the commonest cause for anemia). Rule this out (or other nutritional causes) by asking for a "Peripheral blood smear". In both drug induced anemia and in anemia of renal diseases, the morphology (appearance) of RBCs remain normal, not so in anemia of nutritional causes.
