it's better than nothing...throw in some situps and some squats too and you almost have a full body work out. push ups work mainly the chest, and a lot of other stabilizing muscles through out the whole body

From what Ive experienced, no, you must gradually work your way up to doing more pushups in a smaller amount of time. Ive worked my way up to 50 push ups, 100 sit ups, and 100 curls with a dumbell. I do that 2-3 times without a break, because when your muscles are already tense, they need to work a lot harder, thus you get a way better work out. that usually takes 20 minutes without distractions. Keep your heart pumping in between atleast by doing sit ups or jumping jacks.

Also, try getting dumbells if you want to inscrease your arm strength. Pushups are for your outer chest mainly.

heavily, as others have suggested all you're doing in the present day's persevering with to interrupt down your chest muscular tissues, persistently. For any type of anaerobic exercising, you want to relax a million-3 days afterwards reckoning on your health element. throughout that element you also want an further of energy to provide the skill and protein necessary to construct muscle. This is going for pushups, pullups, rowing, weight lifting, or perhaps sit down-ups. Ever comprehend the those who attempt to do one hundred sit down-united statesa.day and not in any respect get there, because they are continually breaking down their abdominals without fix. Now operating, you would possibly want to do this ever day in case you wanted.

Try doing them for time, like for a minute strait then rest for a couple, that should be good. Push Ups build your chest and triceps. Do them with your hands close together to focus on your tri's and inner chest. Do sit ups/crunchs for your abs and chair dips are easy to do and biuld your triceps too.
