Since I like my pizza really heavy and saucy, I cook the crust (homemade) for 3-4 minutes first. I like to make my own sauce and to use about 1 and a half cups of sauce. Because it has a lot of sauce and I also use a lot of toppings, the crust would get soggy if I didn't pre-bake it a while.

I like a very thin and crunchy crust, so I always put it in the oven for a couple of miinutes to start the cooking process, usually with a little olive oil and some spices or some white pizza sauce. The white pizza sauce is oil with spices, I think the brand name is Beano's, but not 100% sure. Then I put on the tomato sauce, cheese, toppings and finish cooking.

You probably could, but there's not really a need to. It cooks just fine with the sauce and toppings on it. The only thing I wait to put on sometimes is the cheese. I'll add the cheese the last 5 minutes or so that it's cooking.

this may not be the answer u are looking for but if its just for urself ...i like to make quick pizza ..i take a slice of bread ..toast it and then but spagetti sauce veggies like onions mushrooms whatever you like...olives and put seasonings you like and stick it in the oven for about 10 minutes..its a quick easy pizza..may not be just like pizza but its close enough for me ..or else as for ur question after the dough has risen you just put the sauce and then the toppings and then cook it together. i dont think you cook the crust first or it may get too tough...hope i helped!~

we do a quick and easy french bread pizza at our house... pre-heat oven to 350 degrees... cut a loaf of french bread in half (long-ways), spread pizza sauce over both halves... put the toppings on... put pizza in oven for 10-15 minutes (keep an eye on it after 10), just when the cheese melts, kick the oven up to Broil for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melty and browned... SO YUMMY and only about 20 min to make (and no messy dough or uneven crust to mess with)

also works for easy garlic bread (spread tub butter over bread sides, sprinkle garlic powder, add mozzerella cheese and bake as above).

I made some pizza calzones a few days ago using crescent roll dough. Pressed two triangles together to make a rectangle. Filled it with pepperoni, sauce, and cheese. Then folded against the old perforated mark and pressed it together. Yummy and individual. Next time I'm going to have my nieces over and let them make their own!

Best to cook it all at once, particularly if you're using homemade pizza dough.

you can do it that way, but you might want to keep an eye on it when it's baking with the sauce and other things. you don't want it to get too crispy and burn. i'm no professional, but i think that you shouldn't cook it first.

Actually that is how to cook one on the grill.

Yes you can do it that way, but watch out does it not gets to crispy, because it bakes again with the stuff on it.
