Second chances? I believe in them. I've been given a second chance myself and I am very greatful for it. And I don't know where I would be in life now, if i hadn't got one. Let alone where i'd be with out him. Don't believe that quote, "Once a cheater, always a cheater." It is not true, I have turned my game around completely and i am 100% focused on him. I'm a big fan, on second chances because people may change and commit. After I realized how much this guy had gone through for me, tollerated me, and put up with the drama. I knew that he was a keeper. I knew that he loved me/cared about me alot. I wouldn't want to do anything to hurt him intensionally, ever.

Only if you show that you Never Ever WILL. Then Yes. Because my boyfriend cheated on me 2 years ago. But he's really changed over the years. I thought I'd never trust him. Yea he kissed a girl on the lips, but at least he didn't go sleeping with anyone. It takes a long time to trust someone again. You have to show her that you love her. I always give second chances, but after that, (you know what happens)

It's possible that they can feel remorse and be able to not cheat again. But, I think the question is can the person that they cheated on ever forgive long enough to trust again? That is the hard part. I think it would always be something in the back of my mind preventing me from trusting them.

"Ever" is a tough one. If he ever cheated on you, he can be trusted to do it again but maybe be more careful next time.
If he cheated on ANYONE within the last 5 years or after the age of 25 (whichever is greater), he can be trusted to cheat on you.
If he cheated when he was young, but matured alot OVER QUITE A FEW YEARS then maybe maybe maybe he MIGHT be a 1-woman man (50-50 chance at best).

Yes. Just because he cheated in the past doesn't necessarily mean he'll do it again. If he cheated on someone else don't worry about that because you don't know what that relationship was like. If he cheated on you he could of realized that he screwed up and your more important than anything

I wish I could say never ever, but I was married to a wonderful woman who forgave me when I made a horrible mistake. It took a lot of time and effort on my part but I did earn her trust again. If it is a one time ordeal then you should forgive him but put him on notice that any sign of him even considering doing it again will result in the ending of the relationship.

I mean of course. You can't just say that he is going to cheat again just b/c he cheated once. I believe it might be hard to build a house of trust, but as long as ur working on the construction layout. But I know niccas can be triflin.

why want to take more chance with this kind of relationship? living in agony or to be even describe as fear not knowing what will take place out of the sudden. is it worth all the stress in life? isn't life already have enough problems than to add another one of this in life? not able to trust a person for a start, is it a healthy relationship to be in? if a person would be that easy to change than all of us would have a better world to live in but sadly look around us. is it any better?

Yes and no,
Yes if he is really broken up about it. If he is crying and just cant go on living that he messed up and promises that he will never stray again, then yes you can trust him.
If he says he is sorry but no emotion behind it, then there is a good chance he already has someone else in mind.

There are guys who fall into temptation and if they had been thinking straight would never have done it. So I think if a man seeks forgiveness and shows that he's serious. He can be trusted again...
