I have lost six pounds in two weeks... and honestly that isn't even why I was drinking it.
I started drinking lipton green tea two weeks ago because I researched that it was much better for you that regular black tea. I wasn't doing it to lose weight but I stepped on the scale and I had lost 6 pounds. I drink about 4 cups a day, and I didn't excersise or change my eating habits.
I also brew it the real way, using lipton tea bags and use splenda so that I don't add any calories.

Yes, green tea is a good drink to lose weight. Green tea has many good properties and also lowers cholesterol, enhances oxidation and increases thermogenesis.

Green tea increases metabolism and burns fat naturally. Catechin polyphenols is the compound found in tea. This compound along with other chemicals oxidizes the fat and heat is generated in the body, which in turn burns fat. Green tea is also a good antioxidant. Like vitamin C and beta-carotene, green tea extract is a powerful antioxidant.

More and more people are opting for green tea to lose weight naturally. Green tea does not harm the body and is a good weight loss drink. Green tea is also a good source to control the blood sugar levels. According to research, green tea increases the metabolic rate and burns calories quickly. This helps in losing weight.

People who are fat normally have high cholesterol levels and green tea is a good source to reduce bad cholesterol. Although it is not a magic pill, it is beneficial to drink tea. Many countries like India, China, Japan etc have a tradition of drinking tea. Along with green tea, proper diet and exercise would be the ideal solution to lose weight.

Water definitely, but avoid drinking cold water right after/during a meal. The cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed and will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and may even lead to cancer.

lots, I'm melting,..........melting ......
Hon it doesn't work that easily...........You can't just drink lots of tea and lose weight..........We would all be skinny, right? While the properties in Green Tea do assist in some weight loss(very little) You have to control your food intake, exercise , Just can't do one thing only. to lose weight............ sorry
