ive had many over drafts and let me say that after my 1st one i learned something. its the cheapest loan you can aqquire. dont get me wrong its not kool to have your bank account on neg. but look at it this way. avrg bank charges about 20-30 bucks for every time you go over. the smartest thing to do is get protection for a small fee. however what i did was simple. 2 days b4 payday i was short 300 bucks for a bowling tournement. so i overdrafted my account and paid it back 3 days later all it cost me was 30 bucks in fees. where can u get a short term loan for such a cheap apr.

I have multiple accounts just to spend on the net and one time i over charged it for 2 transactions one for $1 and the other for $5 they charged me $25 for each of the over draft i was pissed. I went and talked to them to see if their was any kind of way if my bank card would cancel out once the card had no funds and they said nope I was like what if someone stole my wallet and started over charging my card they told me their was nothing I could do but file a claim. This is the crap about cc or banks these days this is how they make money even if it is fraud they dont care because someone has to pay it.

I had a BUNCH of overdraft fees this year when I didn't pay attention to my account one month.

I'm too embarrassed to say how many.

I was pissed because I had the money to cover the checks in my savings account.

I think Washington Mutual charged $29 each.
