he probably wants a 'real relationship' with you and wants to be able to make sure you wont cheat on him or anything. personally, this guy is waste of time because if he's basically forcing change upon you, then he doesnt really like you for who you are.

If he is calling you names than you shouldn't want to be with him. Someone who you like shouldn't call you names or disrespect you in any kind of way. Don't wait for him, move on. Life is too short for negativity.
