I am planning to apply for ROTC four-year nursing scholarhsip program and become an RN. Is it financially advantageous? What is it like to be a part of it? If you know anything about ROTC, whether it's the eligibility for the scholarship to the trainting or the cadet's life, please tell me. If you have personal experience about this pgroam, that will be even better. Thank you.

I did ROTC it was fun and the best part is I had no loans when I got out of school and I had a job right out of college.

I took one ROTC class a semester that would meet once or twice a week.

We would work out every morning (3 days a week was required I think depends on the school)

we would have a lab once a month or twice a semester where we would to some training around the local area on campus or in a park or whatever

we would have a Field Training Exercise FTX once a semester where for a long weekend we would travel to a base and do all that good Army training that every one loves.

other than that I did all the regular college stuff and it was way better than working during school.

you will owe the army 4 years when you are done with school.

Go for it!! You wont have a problem looking for a job if and when you get out. I strongly encourage it!
