Most of the conspiracy theories don't hold water when one looks at their claims through the prism of cold, hard science.

That being said, the government was only too happy to exploit the emotions from the aftermath for a political agenda that had nothing to do with the events of that day.

One could even argue culpabilty and responsibility by the government by making a case that they should or could have done much more to try and prevent it.

That's a far cry from claiming they intentionally aided, abetted or were behind the events on that day.

What the he_l is the person talking about? Where did the United States Of America make any money on this!? Yeah, our government has secrecy and conspiracies that I, like many other people don't agree with. But, Look at all these other companies that have made millions of dollars off the tragedies of the men and women that lost love ones in the 9/11 attack and did any of that money go to those families? NO!!

well said to Scarlett_Ohara!! It is so true! If the USA had planned the 9/11 they would have at least thought to put the wm in Iraq!!! They may have faked the moon landing, but no one was killed! I don't think that the USA will harm their citizens like that! Its only to make us doubt our country and confuse our leader... well ok anyway its done to make us the people turn against each other and not stand united as we did on that day of 9/11. A person to say such a thing evidentally did move from their chair and went on to their day. I sat and cried with horror when I saw it on tv for all the lives that were taken.

There are a lot of people who see a conspiracy in everything. Some even think that the sun and the moon conspire to cause severe weather and hurricanes.

Once it used to be the gods who caused harm and destruction and now it is the Government that is behind all these things. We just have to live with such people, they make up a part of our society and so long as they just rant and rave, they are harmless.

Government was not involved. You should punch that kids face in for thinking that. How do you make money off of 9/11 followed by the war in Iraq? That's only brought us further into debt (Ithink it has risen some).

How do we know that those conspiracy theorists are not the real conspirators? How do we know that their aim isn’t to cause the people to lose faith in their government so that they may attain their nefarious goals?
Besides if the US government was going to go through all that trouble to conspire to create 9-11 don’t you think that it would have also been a good idea to plant some WMDs in Iraq?

So many people were killed or died trying to help (running back into buildings) not to mention Flight 93. Our government is not going to start a war thats putting this country in billions of dollars of debt (making money? someone needs to pay attention more) I don`t think that someone ho clearly has no idea what he`s talking about should be disrespecting those who died that day. You`re right, its bull.

You were correct... the dolt in your class is an idiot. What happened on 9-11 was terrorist flew Jet airliners full of people into buildings occupied by thousands more people. It really isn't all that complicated.
