that's weird that's the same problem i am having he says to his friends he likes me but when my friend asks him he says he just like me as friends.
i think he probably doesn't tell your friends that he likes you cause he scared of getting rejected like if he thinks if he tells your friends he likes you then they will tell you and if you don't like him he'll get rejected by you and he probably doesn't want to get hurt by you in case he likes you a lot.
what i do is the guy i was talking about that i like i talk to him on the phone and i thought he wouldn't talk to me or say something like why are you calling me but he didn't he's actually nice cause i asked him how often can i call him he said if i want to i can call him everyday cause i am the only one that calls him on his cell phone so he likes to talk to me but it's weird cause we are to shy to talk to each other at school i guess that's why we never do but on the phone we talk for hours.
and the additional detail you just added the reason you should wait is cause you don't wanna get rejected again but then you shouldn't wait cause what if he is waiting for you to ask him out.
I have liked the guy i have been talking about since 6th grade I'm in 8th grade now i asked him out in 6th grade but he said no so now i am waiting for him. and the same as you i m desperate.

Be a mature lady and talk to him. Do not be surprised if he stutters around. Guys have a hard time connecting to feelings most of the time.

But ALWAYS ask in a polite and kind way. Never be pushy or demanding.

Nice always wins. Maybe not this time, but NICE will win.

Typical guy!!! They always tell your friends that because they dont want to be inbaresed by the fact that he was over heard!!! And if you really want to know ask him for yourself not send a friend to do the job for you!!!

BE YOURSELF! Don't freak out, and start acting differently. He's just saying you two are friends, but he might be hiding the fact that he really likes you so just wait and don't try to act to be someone else.

OK, well he must definitely like you then, when you talk to him try to see any signs of flirting, then if there is some then ask yourself do you like him back? if you do don't hesitate to ask him out.

Talk to him and tell him you want him to come clean with you instead of using a go between.

ok well do you like him back? if you do then you should just relax. talk to him, compliment him, flirt and act friendly. but if you dont like him... then just dont worry about it. relax and have fun. if he likes you, then too bad.
