Yes, you might be intimitating some of the boys. Just remember this... Never dumb yourself down to have a boyfriend and wait until you are out of high school. The older you get the more you will be attractive to men... stay smart!

I'd say yes, if you want to be approached. You sound like you're having way too much fun running them off. So if you want a "keeper", you need to back down a little, honey. Feminine wiles are to USE not to beat a guy into the ground with....but, that's a lesson you'll learn alot later in life. Take a tip from the "old broad", lighten up a little and give them a chance to prove that they are "keepers". You can't weed out the garden until you know which ones are weeds. Godloveya.

Some immature, insecure, macho guys are intimidated by smart girls. Stay away from those kind. The right one will come along and you will be glad you waited.

I'd imagine that they do. Since you don't look for a guy as much as other girls do, they assume you're not interested and leave you alone. But don't worry about it too much. I'd rather intimidate a guy than attract one. Use your smarts to their best advantage and enjoy yourself.

Not entirely intimidating, but yes to an extent.
It may not necessarily be your intelligence. It may be the fact that guys think you are so dilligent that you will put your studies above a relationship, and don't wanna be second gear for you.

Smart girls are like you! they wait a bit and wait for smart boys. I didn't see an age group, but that's ok. If you are smart the boys will soon be there. We look at girls but don't really see them. Till we mature... that sometimes takes forever, but that is life.

Short Answer: NO ... Don't change who you are. Things will fall into place, I promise. The right guy won't find you intimidating. Wait for him.

perhaps a guy who wasn't excelling academically may find a smart girl intimidating, but i think an intelligent guy would see himself on the same 'level' and perhaps that would make you more approachable

i think so, because the ones who are not smart and run around with guys are usually easy accible..... for sex and control.... so highschool is really not a great place for promising relationshops... the guys are not mature enough and wayyyy too horny.... so wait until like grades 1...12 and after highschool, you will find that guys smarten up alot and loose interest in the dumb chicks
