When it took place about a thousand years ago, as predicted by St. John the Divine, he took the predeterminedly select to paradise, and left the dregs on earth. Explains a lot does it not?

what is so important about the second coming, is you dont have to be dead before it happens, you actually can be a part of it if your heart is right before God. How can you get right with God? By first believing in His Son and what He did for all mankind: He gave up His own life to die for the sins of the whole world that we may be able to be reconciled with God. He gave us the keys ACTS 2:38 "repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, for the promise is unto you and to your children, even as many as are far off (which means us who are in the future) and to all that our God shall call. If you would like more understanding find a Oneness Apostolic Church near you, some are United Pentecostal Church, Apostolics of the Lord Jesus Christ, PAW, or any Independant Church that preaches the Oneness of God and is obedient to Acts 2:38. You can be ready for the second coming, for He can come at any time, at any moment, or your never know when your time will be up, BUT, you will be ready if you follow these instructions. It's only important if one stands in awe of the omnipotence of the Creator, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise, the All-Powerful, the All-Loving, the Fashioner, the Great Physician, etc. If one is filled with arrogance and ego, the second coming will not be seem important ... at first!

The second coming of Jesus will be the end of all things. We can't say for sure that we'll be dead, it may happen tomorrow. Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour except the Father in heaven. When He returns all will be judged according to what they've done. The wheat will be separated from the tares and justice will finally be served!

It'll be great! Once GW starts WW III it will begin. Jesus will return. Most of humanity will be wiped out (the Lord works in mysterious ways). And everyone who is devoted to Christ, no matter what kind of wretched things they did during their life (like GW), will be welcomed into God's Heavenly Kingdom. All others, no matter what kind of good they did throughout their lives, will be damned to burn in eternal Hellfire! Heathens will BURN!!!
Praise Jesus now or pay the price! The end is right around the corner.

I believe Jesus is coming between 30 to 50 years from now.
First all the true believers will vanish in a twinkle of the eye, the nonbelievers would think aliens took them away. Next seven years of Revelation.

It will be a time of great rejoicing for those of us who look for His coming,as we trust in Him for our eternal life.Destiny, with Jesus is what is so important about the second coming of Jesus. To die before He comes again to earth ,just means I will be with Him sooner rather then later

And, pray tell, who are you to be so sure? The second coming of Jesus will come when He decides, not you nor I. And no man shall know the day or hour.
EDIT* Some people use the phrase--Laughing all the way to the bank. Alyson and others may be ---Laughing all the way to Hell. Not a very good proposition!!!

well even if you do die you will still experience it! No matter what you are going to die and go to heaven or hell! The importance of second coming of Jesus is that we need to be ready! Hes coming and when he comes people are going to heaven or hell! and thats perment and when they ask but what if they died and God judge them already well arent they in hell already??? well correct BUT the thing is Hell is like there waiting place! But when they are Judge! hey go to the Lake of fire which is 1 billion times worse than Hell!.

Jesus Christ is a King in heaven right now since the year 1914 and has been ruling ever since. The second coming means that God will use him to bring destruction upon bad people (not destroy planet Earth). Humans will not see Jesus in person because he's invisible. This holy war will be God's not man's.
