If you can't find fun things in Toronto, you ain't in Toronto. Toronto is boring for me because I live an hour away, and even I can find fun stuff to do there. It's not cheap, but there are hundreds of things to do. The CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, the Eaton Centre and all that well-known stuff is only half of it. There's always a sporting event, a festival of some kind, or something interesting going on in that town. And no matter what kind of bar or nightclub you're looking for, they've got it. Same thing with hotels and dining: From questionable joints to the finest five-star locations, it's available in Toronto. If the outdoors-y stuff is your thing, you'll have to go out of town for that. But anything else can be found right downtown. Just be sure to dress warm.

I have lived in Toronto all my life. There are alot of things to do. YOu haven't told me your age or how long you are here for. I am assuming that you are here for about a month. Here is a list.
1. Centre Island is alot of fun, (in the summer), you can take your bike there and ride all around. This time of the year it's still warm and you can take the ferry out there.
2. skiing is very alive and well just outside the city. But you have to wait for the colder weather.
3. tons of bike trails throughout the city.
4. Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art
5. City TV on Queen St. Try to get tickets to be in the Audience on one of their shows.
6. Get tickets to Second City. They have great skits and the SNL stars all got their start there.

Rent a movie and stay at home, its cold outside. If you really want to do something fun they use to have dances on the top of the cn tower but, I'm not sure if they still do that anymore,It usually starts on the first weekend of November. When the winter really comes on strong there will be ice skating and skiing at centennial park in etobicoke, but for right now ,dinner and a movie is good especially if you don't like the clubs.
