Read the book "A Voice in the Wind" by Francine Rivers. It is a great love story and religious book. It is awsome!! It is my most favorite book (besides the bible). But it is two books one story. So the Second book is called "An Echo in the Darkness" it is awsome. You have to read it. May God bless you : )

Try "Hearing God" or "Soul Food" by Peter Lord. Then maybe "The Right Man In and the Wrong Man Out" by Major Ian Thomas. Or,
"Bones of Contention" by Marvin Lubenow
"Many Infallible Proofs", by Morris and Morris
"When Skeptics Ask" by Geisler and Brooks
"The Adversary" Mark I Bubeck
"Piercing The Darkness" Frank Paretti

If you want a book about the most controversial and important figure in the history of mankind, pick up a copy of "The Desire of Ages" by Ellen White. In addition, if you want a history of the christian church from the fall of Jerusalem to the end of the world, read "The Great Controversy" by the same author.

thousands! commentaries, books on non-biblical works such as dead sea scrolls, kabballah, lost boo,ks of the bible and forbidden books of eden, books of enoch, etc. they are historical writings from the early years of the christian era, though not canonical in nature. they give different perspectives of the teachings used when the early years of christianity was being taught in those years prior to the third century. histories of the period are also of value for getting a perspective which you won't get in church.
you may also want to r4ead books about other religions and what they teach, such as the egyptian book of the dead, the tibetan book of the dead, the bagavadgita, the book of mormon etc. don't limit your reading, but neither do you have to become a believer in any other belief to learn something different.
