I love my boyfriend, we have our good moment, but like every couple we have our down ones. Lately he is doing really stupid stuff and being VERY annoying. (climbing bridges and such) Our winter dance is coming up and I am going, with or without him. He doenst want to do claming that 15 dollars is to expensive and that he would rather go to another schools which NEITHER of us attend! How do I get him to get his head out of his butt and focus on the REAL world?

You can tell him your feelings, on the matter, you wrote about, but if he doesn't come around, no matter how much you love him, then it's just not going to work out for you both.
If he loves you too, then he will change his attitude and behave himself. If he doesn't, there isn't much else you can do. But find another boyfriend. Who hopefully, will be a bit more mature.

You can't change his behavior, you can only change how you respond to it. If he thinks 15 dollars is too much for a dance, explain to him how much you want to go, and offer to pay his way. As far as his dangerous bridge climbing stunts, and whatever else he's doing, the more you express your dislike, the more he will do it. He obviously likes the attention and gets a thrill from the danger. I can understand why it worries you, after you have told him how you feel, there's nothing more you can do unless he bothers you so much that you are ready to move on.

Get all up in his face, and tell him to get a grip. Even slap him in the face in necessary. Us guys can be so stupid, and oblivious to everything, and in short, we rather like to be annoying. You should just say something like "You need to realize that things cost money, girlfriends included. If you don't think I'm worth $15 then I don't want to be with you anymore, you bastard." It should be quite effective. Like I said earlier, feel free slap him in the face and knock some sense into him. It lets him know that you are very serious.

I'm at a loss as to why you would want to date someone who is that flaky and immature.

Life is hard enough. Why create extra drama for yourself? Move on to a healthier, more mature guy.
