WELCOME to the new Yahoo answers gameshow: 'Which conclusion is more rational!?' In this event contestants will choose from 3 possible choices of answers and put which one they think is more rational. Our group of scientists in the lab, who use a mathematical formula which compares evidence to outcome will come up with a conclusion that is positively more rational than the others and the first person to choose that letter wins the 10 points!
Here's the question:

Why would someone write the bible?

A:they were inspired by god and god wrote it through them.

B: They developed a small organsim in their brain which took control of their physical functions and forced them to write a bunch of random contradicting information.

C:They realized if they wrote a book that conveyed their idea yet took the form of a perfect, omnipotent being that had power over what happens after you die (in which no mortal could know) they could influence people to think like them.

C. Shows that you've never actually read the book you're asking about.

So, the answer would then logically and rationally be A.

"A" requires faith.

"B" assumes that the book is random and contradictory. Simple objective study shows that it is not.

"C" asserts the vanity of man, yet also requires faith (since the book speaks of things that require faith ["No mortal would know"])

So : C
