WOW!!!! Welcome to the party!!!! I gave my life to Christ just a couple of years ago. It has not always been easy, but far from boring. I still have a lot of fun. Don't put yourself in difficult situations. Get involved with your church. There are classes, clubs, groups, etc at every church aimed at your age group. Read your Bible EVERY night, even if only a chapter or two. Find a Christian radio station (American Family Radio) is awesome and so inspiring...Looking forward to seeing you in Heaven!!!

I'm so happy that you are saved. That just makes my day knowing that another life is saved. You know, the Bible says when someone is saved they have a huge feast and party. They are celebrating. We should too. Be happy. : ) Life will throw challanges at you, but God will be with you to help you. You just have to lean on him for help. Well, May God bless you and make you life full of joy. : )

No words of encouragment other than you were never unsaved. What is it that you believe you were saved from being your God did not make anything that was not good.

Welcome to the family!
Spend time with other believers fellowshipping (yahoo is not a good example of this) as you will be persecuted for your faith. The bible says 'Iron sharpens Iron' - it will strengthen you to meet with others in the faith. A bible study group would be a big help too.

Be strong in the Lord and be tenacious. Get into the word of God and pray. Learn more about your faith. A good website is

Jesus never said it would be easy, He only said that He would be with you. Isn't it wonderful to know that? I am glad you found salvation, and lastly, I think the best thing for you is to surround yourself with good Godly people. God bless you.

If you have a Bible read Hebrews chapter 11. I like to call it the Hall of Faith. It's about as encouraging as it gets.

Know this. Satan will attack you from every angle. He does not like that fact that you have changed sides. He will tempt you, discourage you, belittle you, persecute you, threaten you etc. to try to make you believe that you are no different now than before you were saved. After all, do you feel any different? Do you act any different? Many times after the euphoria of being saved wears off, the honeymoon phase ends and the believer starts to doubt the experience and what is means. Never doubt the gravity of what has happened in your life.

You have changed allegiances from Satan to Christ. You have passed from the land of the dead to the land of the living. Your life is no longer your's but Christ's who paid for it with his blood. You now have eternal life. Today. You have been adopted into the family of God, and you are joint heirs in the inheritance of Jesus.

Be prepared for Satan's attacks. Study the Word of God like never before so that you can meet his attacks like Christ did with a firm "Thus saith the Lord". Keep growing in the grace of God. Do not become stagnant and luke warm in your religious life. Be active at church. Associate with fellow believers. Satan would love to separate you from the flock to divide and conquer. He will show you the hippocrites in your church. Do not be surprised. Satan has his people in every church. Don't judge. Pray without ceasing. It is your life's blood. Continue to seek for truth. Ask for the Holy Spirit to fill your life and to root out evil. Sanctification is the work of a life time, God's work with your cooperation. Question discrepancies between what you find in the Bible with what your church might be preaching. Never let a pastor or minister be responsible for your soul. It is up to you to seek out the truth. Not every church teaches truth. Love God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind. Love your neighbors as yourself. Love your enemies. Forgive quickly and completely. Confess your sins readily before God. Look for the blessed hope that is the return of Jesus Christ in the clouds of heaven. Fulfill the gospel commission by telling others what Christ has done for you. Relieve the suffering of others. Feed the poor, clothe the naked, heal the lame. Be a blessing to all those you come in contact with. Find fulfillment in the simple things of life, and give God the glory in all things.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39

it's not easy, just focus on Christ. The past is the past and keep looking forward.God forgives and forgets !
The next time the devil reminds you of your past , remind him of his future ! !
Go to a bible teaching church and fellowship with them as much as possible !
Remember the song that says :
Lean on me,when your not strong.I'll be a friend,I'll help you carry on !

God bless !
