I really need to know the weaknesses, because my book (this is for school) only tells me the good things. Which I guess makes sense, but my teacher wants us to tell her the weaknesses, too. So... help?

mike g gives a good answer.

For the John 15:1ff pericope, Jesus is speaking of Himself metaphorically, indicating that those who believe are harvested up to God, while those who do not are pruned away and sent to the compost heap.

"Laboring in the vineyard of the Lord" is a metaphor for ministers who harvest souls, converting the unconverted and keeping the converted on the straight and narrow.

Vines by nature need pruning and care by a vine dresser to bare fruit and not over grow themselves.

Scripturally read John 15:1-11

Did a quick search on it, and it looks like it's a fairly fundamentalist but mainstream Protestant faith that ordains women to the ministry. Baptism and communion are considered ordinances, not sacraments. I think it would have strengths and weaknessesthat would parallel other fundamentalist ministries.
