I've read that there are many negative side affects to a healthly coffee addiction. Please explain these affects and why coffee causes these problems. Also, is there a safe amount of coffee that one can drink, or better brands or ingredients that are less harmful?

Also, I've heard that decaffinating coffee leaves another chemical that is just as bad. Is this true?

Coffee is ok. There are much worse things you can ingest. The caffeine is the most harmful chemical, and it's not all that harmful. If you're really worried about it, switch to decaf.

No, coffee is perfectly fine. It MAY cause you to lose water, but there's a simple remedy for that: Drink more water.

I almost want to say everything in moderation is okay. However I love my Starbuck's decaf, non-fat latte and live happily every after.

Coffee is good its what people put in it that is detrimental.

no ive heard coffe is bad for you it raises bp levels and it stunts growth in younger people still growing it basiclly meses with your heart this is what ive heard from people in this field

my accupunturist got me off of coffee because coffee has too much HEAT, it throws you off balance,it's too much damn caffiene!!!
