I know my dad loves me i am his daughter... But hes not affectionate at all and i was just wondering if you woman out there have dads like that too.. Do you see it in thier eyes when he looks at you or does something for you?? Like how do you know yourself your heart that he loves you.. how does he show it

There are many fathers out there who don't know how to show their affection towards their children, especially their daughets.
A father finds it harder to bond with his daughter, as she is frequently growing and becoming a woman.
I too have a father that isn't capable of showing much affection.
I know that he loves me because he's my father, when I was young and lived at home he worked hard to bring food to the table, and to get my sisters and I the clothes on our backs. He always found ways to treat us, even if it was with our favorite bags of chips... or something like that.
He didn't hug much or kiss us at all, but I know that he loves me because he's always supported me since I was born. He also wants me to follow my heart and do what is best for me in my life now that I am grown. Your father shows his love by allowing you to grow and not holding you hostage (not literally, but you know what I mean) during your years living at home.

I am not a woman but let me tell you something I am 17 years old and my whole life I have went through life not knowing who my dad is because he left before I was born I don't know his name I don't know what he looks like because I choose not to because I think I am better off not knowing so just be greatful that you have a father whos there and to talk to because trust me if he wasn't there you feel alot worse. and I couldn't hear of anyone going through my experience. and I hope that your dad will start being more affectionate towards you (good luck)

I have a father like that, but the way I know he loves me is he is always there for you, even when he doesn't think you did the right thing, he stands behind you in think or thin! That's how you know he loves you!

as a women we feel that some one love us if they say it, but men don't operate that way. actions speak louder than words for them. if he is there when you need him,( i mean really need him) provides for you ( because contrary to beliefs he didn't have to). he loves you....
