There are precious few studies out there, so we don't know if it works or any of the long-term side-effects. It is the hot fad diet now, and we all know what happens to hot fad diets.

Diet pills do one or more of the following: Make you poop more, make you hyper (caffeine effect), suppress appetite.

When you stop the pills, the weight will come back WITH A VENGENCE. That is because you haven't learned to eat properly, nor have you increased your exercise levels so that fuel intake equals fuel burn. In addition, your body now believes that it faces sudden famines, so it compesates by adding more fat cells and filling them faster when food becomes available.

I am presently on Hoodia Gordonii "Hoodia Supreme" by NaturesBenefit.

It is doing exactly what it said "No appetite" but I can't fall to sleep. However, I make sure that I eat something and drink something at my regular meal time. I stopped taking it for a day to try and get some sleep and I could not stop eating ! Back on it again the next day and I don't want anything to eat.

You can check out there web site: www.naturesbenefit.com

P.S. According to their bottle, you take 2 pills at 400 mg each, once a day, which did nothing for me so I did some research on the web and found that GNC sells hoodia for less and at stronger dose 500 mg each pill. According to GNC you can take upto 6 pills in 24 hour period. I took 1200 mg, no appetite, feel great, except I can't sleep. Tomorrow I will try 800 mgs.
