found this in answer to another question, seems historically possible, but I never heard it b4. I know all Bible scripture used to justify the belief. Looking for a referance either justifying the above statement or a teaching of the idea of trinity previous to about the yrear 900. Not into arguing just research. Answers from war mongers will be ignored.

The doctrine began evolving in the third century and was adopted officially in the Nicean Creed, 325 CE.

the doctrine of trinity was adopted at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD.

the word 'trinity' does not appear in the Bible even once.

its appears in the Qur'an three times.

the doctrine of the trinity was officially adopted in 325 c.e. or so... long before the crusades, and before there were even muslims to crusade against

I thought that Trinity was established by Constantine before the Crusades...but maybe you're right!

That's absurd. The crusades were fought to appease the pope-period.

as far as i know, the trinity thing was way before the crusades. but i could be wrong.
