Sure, just be aware that finding your honey where you make your money can be a bad idea

I think you are best off not going outside your comfort level with flirting, especially when you are new. Some coworkers get to know each other very well over time and KNOW when each other is joking or serious. As a new person, they DON'T know when you are joking and may develop all kinds of impressions of you that you do not want. I would say it is best to be friendly, but go very very easy with things like flirting until you know your coworkers well and they know you well in return.

Besides, ANY flirting could be construed as sexual harassment. Even flirting to someone else can offend a person who overhears it. Again, know your environment very well before taking yourself out on a limb.

Aloha

well... it happens everywhere...
it's quite common, you can play along, but most important is;
you got to make sure it's a win win situation..
if one is on the loosing side, then rumours will start spreading..
even thou if the rumours is abt the man/guy or the woman/girl..

so, in my opinion always give and take when things dont turn out the way you want it to be (bcoz of jealousy) and if you're the looser in everyones mind, dont worry; as end of the day only you/him who knows that you/him is actually the real winner and, when ppl came to understand, they respect you even more..

As long as it stays at flirting. There is nothing wrong with a little flirting, as long as you don't let it lead to him/her getting the wrong idea.

As long as you feel comfortable, princess. Just remember that you're at work, not in school, and the rules are a bit different.

Know when it is playful, and when it is wrong.
It's best to keep business as business only.
Mixing business with pleasure can make things a little sticky around the job.

Are you comfortable with it? Some forms of flirting could be and are considered sexual harrassment. So you need to ask yourself if you are comfortable with what you would say or do and if you are comfortable with what others would say or do to you.
