I was just wondering how many people will be having or having their daughters vaccinated against HPV, the virus responsible for 75% of cervical cancers, now it has it's european license

Unfortunately condoms do not offer 100% protection from HPV

I won't because I've been monogamous for 35 years, and so has my husband. Besides, it's mostly for young women.
But it is a very good idea for young women, and I hope they lower the price soon.

I would my daughter is only 6 and I would want to know that at lease I tryed helping her. But I do have a couple of year to see how the vaccination works in other kids that is now taking the shot and hopefully it works wonders because if I thought something like this is going to help I want to be the first person in line.

If I had a teenage daughter, I would vaccinate against HPV

I would have made sure my daughter had gotten it if it had been available. She now has already had abnormal PAP's (Class III) and had to have a LEEP. Now it may be difficult for her to go full term with a pregnancy because she had to have part of her cervix removed. She's only 23.

i probably wont because I don't have sex without a condom....and by the time I get married and go without protection, I'll make my husband get checked for STD's. but I would strongly recommend it for every woman between 13 and 25.

I HAD CERVICAL CANCER AND A HYSTERECTOMY AT AGE 31 SO I'VE ADVISED MY TWO DAUGHTERS AND DAUGHTER IN LAW TO GO FOR IT...
