I like plenty of cool water, maybe a fizzing can.
Beef and horseradish sandwiches. Picnic eggs. A cereal bar.
Not keen on anything that might get dangerous if it gets too warm.

Cereal bars are a bit like a stick of muesli. Supposedly a healthier snack food comprised of oats, fruits nuts honey etc.
Picnic eggs are sausage meat wrapped around a portionof chopped up hard-boiled eggs and the whole thing covered in breadcrumbs and fried. Like a mini-scotch egg.
Scotch eggs are whole hard-boiled eggs wrapped in 1/4 layer of sausagemeant and then breadcrumbs before being deep fried.

I like to take cold chicken, cold sausages gluten free, curried eggs, a homemade salad with homemade mayonnaise, homemade biscuits, and possibly a bottle of homemade ginger beer. The chicken would have to be organic. Lots of fresh pineapple, watermelon, strawberries etc....

What are picnic eggs???
I like Chiicken Salad (either the kind you eat w/ a fork or the kind you spread b/t 2 layers of a nice bread)
Cuke/Tomato Salad
Fresh fruit chunks
Cold bottled water
Altho now that fall's arrived, I may have to switch to a Chicken Tortilla Soup (in thermos), Brownies, and maybe some Hot Apple Cider or Hot Chcolate!

A cereal bar??? What are picnic eggs?
I pack cheeses, sausage meats, toasted breads or bagel chips, hard-boilded eggs, olives, pickles... definately home-made cookies of some sort and fruit as well.
For beverage, I like lemonade or iced tea.

Personally, I'd bring cheese, wine, a few apples, some dijon mustard and some salami. You can make a yummy cracker/mustard/cheese/salami/apple snack and sip on the wine. If your of age, of course. Strawberries are good, too.
