i would like a truck to haul stuff in but i would like good gas mileage. should i buy a ford ranger? 2.3l or 3.0. should i buy a ford f150 with a 4.2l.

I like both, but I think it depends on what you want to load. If it is a lot, the F150, if not, the Ranger. Chevy Colorado is a good option too.

I used to have a long bed ranger with a 2.3 and 5 speed. It was a little short on power, but got almost 30 mpg. (and had 200,000 miles when I sold it)
The truck I have now is a ranger 4 door shortbed off road 4x4 with a 3.0 automatic. It's still a little short on power, and it gets around 16-17 mpg on e-85 fuel.
My next truck will be a ranger 2 wheel drive with a 4.0 and 5 speed.

buy the f150 has a better look and power but good gas mileage
