If you are away for 10 hours day, I am going to lean towards that last statement that maybe you should rehome the dog (screen the owners very well). Or you can gt him a buddy. Sounds like he is bored and lonely. For a pool, could you look into getting that material people use in outdoor mini decorative ponds, dig a hole, and put it in there? Heck, a shower uses up to 50 gallons of water. Water bill won't go up THAT much. Empty it out once every few days with the tube you use to drain aquariums. As for drinking water, find a way to strap a clean bucket (thick one you buy from a hardware store) to the side of the deck or a tree or even a metal post you put in the ground. Plenty of water. Hard to knock down. Hard to chew.

That sounds like some basic stomach upsetness. If you change foods don't do it quickly as the pup already is showing signs of stomach problems.
Try some wet food and some easily digested foods like rice cooked in chicken broth (leave the extra liquid with the rice for him) or maybe even some boiled or shredded chicken in with the broth to see if that will help pups tummy.
You might also want to check to make sure that his bowels are working properly and that he is having regular and normal poops (normal size and color, no blood or black or discoloration). Sometimes dogs that chew on things can get something stuck in there system that causes them to get sick, sometimes it passes, other times not. It sounds like he is just getting a sensitive stomach but you will want to keep an eye on him.
My dog has a very sensitive stomach and she will go through phases of eating grass and throwing up. One other thing that worked well with here was getting smaller sized kibble since she doesn't have to chew it as much and doesn't swallow the big pieces, it seems to have helped. If he is 11 he might not be chewing his food enough.
Good luck, I hope your puppy feels better.

You should try rice and mix it with his dog food. That is what we did when our lad was eating grass and it seemed to work. Or try changing dog food. to much grass will upset your dogs stomach, but i have also been told that sometimes dogs eat grass to calm down their stomach. If the rice and changing do food doesn't work it would take your dog to a vet, he could have serious stomach problems which require meds.

You should take him to the vet. As dogs age, their stomachs and digestive tracts change, and they need a milder food.
They also get sick or cancer. You need to make sure that he is completely healthy, then ask the vet if he needs to switch foods.
When you have a vet look at him and declare him healthy, go to www.arknaturals.com. They have natural, herbal supplements that will help him digest his food and keep his tummy calm.
Please take him for a check up, even if he seems fine otherwise. Dogs hide illness from even the most trusted humans.

Some dogs will just graze because they like the taste, but if your puppies are doing it continually and bringing it up after, you should check their diet and be sure you are feeding a nutritionally balanced dog food.
The other thing to watch out for ...
Keep an eye on them, dogs have a tendency to eat grass when something is upsetting their stomaches, as it will bind the item that bothers them, and help them to bring it up after. Check your plants, this is a common cause.

Feed him boiled chicken and rice juice with a little rice. You can give him a little pepto bismo like for humans depending on his size. Id give him a Table spoon. Very lean hamburger and rice is good also. If this doesn't work than take him to the vet and put him on science diet can it is called CD he will know. He could have worms, heart worms or an intestinal problem depending on his age. Good Luck and I wish him good outcome. Lee

Have you noticed any of his toys missing or parts of them? Has he been wormed? Is his food and water kept fresh and clean? Are his bowel movements regular or does he strain?
If he continues to throw up every morning you should have him evaluated by a vet. Yes, I know it's expensive, but it's nothing compared to the 11 years of unconditional love he has given you.
All the best...

What is he vomiting?
If it is bile, try feeding him a little later in the evening. If your dog is ONLY vomiting in the morning most likely his stomach has been empty too long.

Add fiber to his diet, take him to the vet just to make sure there is nothing seriously wrong, BOILED chicken or hamburg with white rice with some veggies would be good too.
