NO. IRAQ IS NOT A STATE. It is just some territory that we Americans invaded because Saddam had WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction). Alaska is the most oil rich state, not Iraq, because Iraq's not a state. Then Texas.

JEEZUS CRISP, you already know there are multiple views of the Iraq issue and Bush's intentions (views that agree or disagree with yours), and it already seems like you've taken a side if you're "making a point," so what exactly is the meaning of this post? To lose 5pts and gain 3pts if/when you choose a Best Answer? To round up everyone who agrees with you? Or to *try* to 'enlighten' stubborn people with their own insight on the subject to switch to your side? Psh. So much for asking a question.

Ahem. Alaska is the most oil rich state, o wise one.

THEN Texas.

THEN Oklahoma.

THEN Lousiana (if you count offshore rigs in the Gulf)

And, for the record, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia have much stronger claims to being the 51st state, followed by the Marianas (a U.S. Protectorate.)

Sheesh. Where do you get your facts????

No. Israel is the 51st state. Iraq is merely a possession.

Technically,
Purto Rico is a territory of the US.
Iraq may be one day if they keep it up.

it is not, and will not be even.

Along the history, no invader or settlers stayed in Iraq
