To JAT. You don't realize that you are already in trouble with God because of sin. His love is seen by dying for you so you do not have to be lost forever. That's love because he didn't have to do that for us. We need to be smart and take his salvation.

God sure does love us. Enough to send His Son to die on the cross for our sins.

Total claptrap,and thousands of people died on the cross,what really makes him so special. Spartacus and some 6000 of his followers were crucified along the Appian Way and their bodies were never ordered removed. So what did God do exactly that many many men have had to go through due to this mess of a world God created.

An awesome God we serve! And you keep right on quoting the King James version - It's lyricism and poetic language makes it the most beautiful of all the versions available to us today. I don't think it gets in the way of people coming to God at all.

That's not a real question. And if your god loves us so much why would he condemn us to hell if we are basically good but don't believe in the right god??
