My friend (now gf) officially started calling ourselves a 'couple'. But the thing is, she doesnt tell anyone that we are a couple, not even her friends. She says she wants to wait until they ask her about it, because she is 'low key'. What are your thoughts?

well see my friends and i are like sisters so i naturally tell them everything! The first night my (now) boyfriend asked me out it was around like 10pm but i didnt care cause my friends would of beaten me up for not telling them that second! haha but thats just how me and my best friends are. we tell each other everything the second it happens cause were all so happy for each other when something happens and were always there for each other if something bad happens. i guess some people are just different.
of course i didnt go around the whole school either telling everyone that cause thats just like...well not weird but not something everyone HAS to know. they'll find out in good time.

your gf may just want to keep it cool cause she doesnt want to be embarrased not that shes embarrased about going out with you but sometimes other people make a big deal about stuff so maybe she just wants to wait until someone asks so to make it more interesting. im not sure but dont worry about it.

good luck and have fun!

You are a boyfriend now go talk to your girlfriend. Tell her "there is no need to not tell your friends, and tell her don't feel ashamed because nothing will happen by telling everyone. If they say something about you and I, just ignore it. Cuz they're just jealous!"

I THINK THATS GOOD THATS YOUR GF IS LOW KEY!!! BY HER KEEPING YALL RELATIONSHIP ON THE DOWN LOW YALL WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DRAMA AND PEOPLE BEING ALL IN YALL BUSINESS!!!! AS LONG AS YALL TWO KNOW YALL GO OUT THEN THATS ALL THAT SHOULD MATTER!!! SHE WILL EVENTUALLY TELL HER FRIENDS!!!

nothing wrong with low key. its better that way no one is all up in the mix and making drama.

why wait.. they shouldnt have to ask... and i wouldnt worry about it too much if they ask and she doesnt say anything then i would say something to her. its not a big deal to go announcing your a couple unless you feel they should know. if it bothers you then you say something. :)

just let her tell them when she's ready. Like when me and my bf gerald first where oficially together I didn't tell anyone unless they asked me but I really loved him a lot and still do. So just let her do it her way.

depends on her age ... she may just be shy or she may have a few issues with having a bf already ... not wanting to be teased about it.
